Our president began his sales career after completing six years in the United States Marine Corps. He spent the next ten years in the Automotive Industry with Chevrolet starting as a salesman moving to General Manager and Dealer. He is married to Claudia and their family includes a daughter, four sons, and three daughters in-laws, one son-in law, ten grandchildren, and two great grandsons.

In 1980, Don Entered the Insurance Industry and created a large national marketing organization that he sold in 1992 to a large financial organization. He used the Sterne Agency to assist his efforts and quickly became their largest customer. He purchased the agency in 1995, from George Sterne when George retired.
